Christy Buchanan serves as the Listing Coordinator Team Lead at Capital City Coordination, where she leads the listing coordination team and helps REALTORS® throughout Texas prepare, market, and launch successful listings with confidence. As a licensed Texas REALTOR®, Christy combines extensive real estate knowledge with a strong background in marketing, photography, and listing management to help agents create exceptional first impressions that attract buyers.

A proud Austin native, Christy brings more than 30 years of local knowledge and over a decade of professional real estate experience to every client she serves. She began her real estate career in 2013 managing a private investor’s residential and commercial real estate portfolio, gaining valuable experience in property management, operations, and investment transactions.

In 2017, Christy transitioned into listing coordination and contract-to-close transaction management for one of Keller Williams’ top-producing real estate teams. She developed expertise in coordinating every aspect of the listing process, including MLS management, marketing timelines, compliance, vendor coordination, photography scheduling, and transaction support.

In 2019, Christy joined Realty Austin, where she continued expanding her experience while supporting one of Texas’ premier real estate brokerages. Her dedication to operational excellence, attention to detail, and passion for helping agents succeed ultimately led her to Capital City Coordination, where she now serves as the company’s Listing Coordinator Team Lead.

Working closely with founder Teresa Stamper and the operations leadership team, Christy oversees listing coordination processes, mentors listing coordinators, supports quality assurance, and helps ensure every listing is launched accurately, professionally, and on schedule. Her leadership helps maintain the high standards of service Capital City Coordination is known for across Texas.

Christy specializes in listing coordination, MLS management, listing compliance, marketing coordination, transaction support, contract compliance, and real estate listing preparation. Her background in marketing and photography allows her to combine creativity with organization, ensuring every listing is positioned to stand out in today’s competitive real estate market.

Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their children, Megan, Matt, and Jameson. She loves traveling, spending time on the lake, and making lasting memories with family and friends.
